Long Term Contract Hire

Customer requirements will change over the duration of the contract, we can help you when those requirements change.  Forktrucks can be exchanged or contract terms shortened, making flexibility the key feature of our long term contract hire.  Long term contract hire is now the most popular method of aquiring forktrucks and other materials handling equipment. A fixed hire rate is set by calculating the number of hours the truck is used and the working conditions.  After this calculation a weekly hire rate is set depending on the type of service contract required.

Contract Hire

The benefit of contract hire is that all the equipment is owned by the rental (hire) company, which means all the maintenance cost are included in the payments during the hire period.  Cashflow and control over your finances will be made easier as you know exactly what you are paying and  it will ensure the maintenance of the forktruck and your workflow.   With contract hire the equipment is returned to the rental company at the end of the contract period.

Lease Purchase

Buying equipment using lease purchase simply spreads the cost over a pre-determined period. A lease purchase period is usually 3, 4 or 5 years, depending on your circumstances.  By opting for a longer running time of the period or contract you have control over the monthly payments, a longer period duration will result in lower monthly payments.  Ownership of the equipment is transferred to the customer when making the first payment.  Because ownership of the equipment rests with the customer it will be part of any 'on balance sheet' accounting.  With a lease purchase agreement VAT for the total value of the equipment is payable with first payment (instalment).

Used Equipment & Equipment Procurement

We are constantly looking into purchasing redundant and surplus forklift trucks.  Whatever the make, model or quantity, we would welcome the opportunity to quote for any disposal of used forklift trucks.  We are able to give approximate valuations over the telephone, but accurate offers will normally be made after a visual inspection. Upon agreement of sale payment will be made prior to any transport arrangements for collection.
